New Car Warranty Brake Pad Replacement - Canada

Before taking my car to the dealer for squeaking brakes; is replacement covered under the new car warranty in Canada? What if I have the brake maintenance light warning light on?

Did a search, and I think brakes are covered in US but not in Canada but want to confirm.

If not covered, any recommendations for a good indy shop in the GVRD area? Prefer Richmond or Surrey.

I might even should order the parts and replace myself if not covered.

not sure about canada but in the us we have the warranty and also a maintenance plan. the brakes should be covered under the maintenance plan but not under warranty unless something is messed up due to a manufacturing defect.

I am pretty sure the brakes are not covered for us in Canada.

What about brake fluid? The brake fluid change indicator will be coming on next month.
