Good to hear. But it's also a slippery slope. By the time you're in danger, your f-arm has to magically appear into your hands. Sometimes laws are tricky. I guess if one of us was in immediate danger and the other was able to sneak away and get prepared would be best case scenario?

I'm not necessarily cheering. I'm giving input as to what the best solution would be and for the future of said lost kid. Or so I think. But am pretty damn sure that the kid is not going to be trying to jack people anymore. Maybe this is a blessing in disguise and he turns his life around.

Actually, it'd be kinda funny to see him try with one arm.

If he is in fact that stupid and realizes 'oh shit I don't have my other hand to carry the shit that I am jacking from this guy' as it happens, then that's a whole different level of stupid. No solutions in that case. LOL

Getting your arm ripped off for a pair of 8s? C'mon now!
I doubt it. The 4s are crappy Jordan Brand quality. I wore my Thunder once and the midsole paint was cracking already. I doubt it will last 10 years even if you don't wear it. I only bought one pair this year because $220 is steep for what it is. It's to the point you're paying resell to Jordan Brand. Can't for that Kobe pack though. Now that's worth losing an arm for at least. Let's hope this teen isn't around, when it drops. He might lose that other arm.

Sure why not? It's been before time after time. This must be new to you?

Being Asian, materialism is far worse for us. But at least we try to save for it and pay for it instead of losing an arm for it. We value vanity just as much.

The new 4s are the "remastered", the quality is supposed to be way better hence the higher price. I'll believe it when I see it however!

Amongst other things.

I hung out in NYC pre-Guiliani and it was hard-core dangerous. You had to keep your wits about you at all times or you were screwed. No matter where you were.

Guiliani turned into one of the safest cities in the country, regardless of size.

Now...it is slipping backwards. I wonder why?

That's all marketing to charge a higher price, while doing nothing to improve the product. Box price for the previous 4s I had were $160. The same crap quality and Nike Air on the heel tab and it's now $220.

These seem much better put together, just got two out of the three pairs I ordered along with a retro pair of Agassi Air Tech Challenges. I still have both my arms too!!

Seems phil either needed to act while dude was in car causing immediate threat or let it go. In no way does, he had a illegal gun carry any weight if he leaves and isn't pointing it at you. Can you run over anyone you find out had an illegal gun because they could be a threat, minority report? Shoes aren't worth the risk you incur going back, neither is vengeance worth going to jail. Yeah I'm in for shoe theft? Wtf

This is why we need drones. Track shoe thief, blow off other arm with miniature hellfires from my DIY Predator. Seems like a rational proportionate response.

HE IS A FUCKING THREAT FROM THE MOMENT HE PULLED THE GUN ON PHIL AND UP TO THE MOMENT WHERE HE LOSES HIS ARM AND DROP THE GUN AT THE SAME TIME!!!!
#1. Simply being in possession of a loaded firearm doesn't automatically make anyone a threat.

#2. Once the kid left the vehicle Phil was no longer in danger. He could have very easily drove off. This will hold true in any court in the country. There are actually examples where carjacking victims have been convicted of a crime because they used their vehicle to injure/kill the perp rather than flee.

Now, having said that, I completely agree that the kid is a POS and he deserves what he got, but unfortunately Phil will be the one who really pays for this.

P.S. Based on your responses here I can guess that you aren't a CHL holder, but if you ever decide to exercise that right, I strongly suggest you read-up on when lethal force is justified, for your own sake.
