P0088 error code

Recently changed the following

Vacuum lines (just a couple)
Spark plugs
Cleaned vanos solenoids (swapped locations) (cleaned with carb cleaner & compressed can dried)
Dual cone intakes are off

I started the car with the intakes off would that cause this code also?
