Props to a Stealership
In all fairness, I should have said Dealership properly, but Stealership is more often the case for most.
Just wanted to give a thumbs-up to Georgian BMW of Barrie, Ontario (Canada) for my last service visit. It was probably my last major checkup before my CPO expires in February (by time) - although I'll probably be pretty close to being over the 160k (~100mi) miles right around the same time also, as I'm over 130k now (80mi). They hooked me up with CPO-covered: Water Pump, Rear Shocks, and a hard Brake Line which had "somehow" become twisted (luckily they didn't dust for fingerprints... ). Total cost to me: $50. Niiice. I had some other stuff done too so it wasn't a totally free ride, but those three were covered and I appreciated having them included in this visit. Everyone writes to bitch about their Dealership - hell, *I* do it everytime I ask them for a price on a part (i.e. 300% markup-ish) - but this time, I gotta do them right and say THANKS. Fyi for anyone in the area - Service staff there are very easy to talk to and give you the straight goods - it's not any cheaper mind you... but they're really "nice" about telling you how much you're about to spend. |

You lucky bastard, that saved you just under 2000 grand worth of stuff! I have never heard of them proactively swapping the WP!
