Hi,

Just picked up an 07 335i with 6k from a gentleman who garaged it for the past 5 years. Silver E90 now with jb4 and dci. Look forward to putting some miles on it.

Will post some pics as soon as I get to my computer. The good thing about not having a warranty is that I don't have to worry about it getting voided by a mod =D

There's also a bad thing about not having one. Good luck.

I'd be interested in meeting up with some locals to see what exhaust options are out there. Its kind of mind numbing online and videos all sound the same to me.

well, as long as the HPFP and the injectors are still covered by the extended warranty then it's all good.....Because we all know what the first major thing that fail is........take a wild guess.

No, not lots of BMWs, unless it's changed in the last year, then no......

Honestly, I don't know why people keep sweating the cars & coffee. It's only cool for a couple times because I learn nothing, and I mean NOTHING about our cars there. I said it once and I'll say it again, lol. To me, that's NOT what a car meet is about. A car meet is about learning about our own cars or other's that are similar to ours. Learning about the mods and the problems other have come across, while checking out and appreciating other bimmers. The only knowledgeable guys at cars and coffee is Tim Bailey and the guys from Surgeline. Other than that, no one knows the difference between a tune (COBB, JB, Procede, etc.) and a tune (music). That may be a bit harsh, but you get the drift.

So, let's say we organize our own meet and I apologize for not being more involved, since I was the one who started to organize the meet.

The warranty is extended by BMWNA, free of charge, because they recognized the issue and is covered until 100k or 120k mile I believe......I have the letter somewhere, lol.

Two of us are going tomorrow. I go probably once a month. I prefer the original one vs the Cascade one.

8am to 11am at this address: 15350 SW Sequoia Parkway, Portland, OR 97204.

Everyone parks in the back lot. Some sweet cars usually roll.

Cars and Coffee isn't structured as an engineering meet. It is a meet for a wide variety of marques and people to get together and hang out that just enjoy cars and hanging out with other people that share the same passion. Someone who owns a Porsche or GTR isn't going to know anything about our cars of course.

There is definitely room for a more relaxed and chill hangout like cars and coffee as well as the more focused BMW only tech meets that you want to put on.

I personally enjoy both atmospheres. One big thing going for cars and coffee meets are that they are held every week, and since they don't restrict who can come based off of brand, they have better turn outs.

OFF TOPIC: I just noticed your username here. What do you ride? I do a ton of offroad riding. Actually I have been out for 2 months due to an ACL injury while ripping around near Mt Hood.

Ya, C&C is cool only for a few times.....I'd much rather get a meet together for bimmers, no matter the model or year, like a bimmer meet they have up in Seattle. While I do appreciate other cars, especially the exotics. I just feel like everyone would benefit one way or another at a bimmer meet where we all have same or similar cars, or at least the same make.

IDK, I'm all about working on my own car whenever I get the chance (given that I have the right tool of course). So I would like to help people with their questions/issues/installs and vice versa.....

I don't go off-roading. My username is my snowboard, Burton Custom X. I also haven't been to the mountain for about 4 years now, since my daughter was born. Would love to go sometime as my gears are just sitting in my room collecting dust! LOL

I added a pic to the OP. Couldn't leave well enough alone, and I'm picking up a good deal on a CPO remus race quad and a TB Diff No more mods; except that box of angel eye LEDs laying around....
