Yup. Works like a charm. Just make sure whoever does it pays attention to details in the diy and has the right equipment+software.

How would you know of the flash in the first place without seeing tons of people doing it?

I would say the number of people that have this flashed globally has reached thousands by now!! This is going viral and those that are still deliberating on t, are missing out. But I can understand because people fear of getting warranty taken away. You can always flash back to Oem software only thing is the time stamp of the flash back will show a date of 2013!

yes I really want to get it done, from the looks of things it looks like a really good improvment any known issues? people say the tach goes to "0" then back up to the engine speed during shifts? what do I need to make it work?

I believe that's an issue with the N55.

I have the flash done. It's great!

That's pretty much it. I had mines done by @cn555ic.
He did a great job as well as other coding to my car. He and other members can also help you remotely if you have the cable and software.

Yea I have to find someone with the software and cable. How much would it cost for me to do it myself? I found another great DIY but can't seem to find it now from another forum

I got mine done, and its GREAT!!!! Super fast shifts, rev matching (almost) on downshifts, much smoother in Drive and D/S and when in D/S its shifts up into 6th! instead of being stuck in 5th like before... I cant see why anyone wouldnt do this.. Also I have no issues at all and my paddles work and no tach issues.... nothing but awesomeness IMO!!

Anyone had any luck trying this with a Mac? Before I buy a cable and install XP I'd be curious if the coding would work period.

If your using Mac and bootcamp make sure you have at least 15-20GB of free memory partitioned for windows after install of windows xp. I would not use Vm fusion as its horrible and IMO VM machines are very glitchy
