UK Recaro CS install help!?

Hello guys, I've recently installed my Recaros into my car, I'm just having a little trouble with the wiring..

I need to fit a seat occupancy sensor bypass under the passenger seat so the car always senses a passenger since the new Recaros don't have a occupancy sensor fitted into them (if the sensor dosnt detect a passenger then the passenger airbags won't deploy in an accident)

The part in struggling with is that the bypass unit I have bought works as a replacement in a standard OEM seat, where I need to wire mine into the bright yellow connector plug under the seat (I presume?)

Has anyone retro fitted the occupancy bypass as I really need my airbags to work, someone must have aftermarket sports seats in there cars?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks

Always been a fan of Recaro but cannot justify them since I'll never be tracking. Looks so sexy in yours, where did you get them from btw?

Usually the bypass fits into the connector block coming from the car so should be straight forward. I've fitted one to an E46 and that's how that worked. Any pics?

Thanks for the help, so you used the other side of this yellow clip to allow the bypass to connect?

i tried to fit these bypass things into mates 335d last month.

bought one from ebay from a seller for around £40 iirc.

it didnt bypass it at all and still had the error on the iDrive about restraint systems faulty etc.

i even tried to code it out aswell but it never worked?

I did mate, I used a seat occupancy emulator off eBay to make the car think there was always someone in the passenger seat (therefore activating the airbags) and using a resistor to trick he car into thinking there was still airbags in the seats (the CS's I had didn't have seat airbags)
And I can confirm that the airbags do deploy in a crash (in my case atleast) after this as Unfortunately about a week after install a car pulled out on me resulting in the airbags deploying :|

It didn't live on unfortunately

The seats were great, firmer than standard but I much preferred them. They are very hugging and hold you in well!
I did a 1,000 miles in three days in them on a road trip and found them absolutely fine

I always fancied these. BMW sell them as well and there is coding script for this. Done on few cars.
Mostly done by M3 owners.

I'm not sure if the BMW Performance ones are in any way different to regular CS', I imagine they just plug in?

Obviously the stitching is different, and personally looks much better.

The BMW Performance ones are plug and play with the existing airbag wiring, and they have airbags incorporated into the side bolsters.

I had a set of John Cooper Works Recaro's in one of my previous R56 MINI's and they were an excellent seat - a £3k option though!!!!

Luckily for me, the previous owner stumped up for them at the time he ordered the car.

I've been looking at these but I'd want them to function like standard seats with no warnings....

I have saw a set from a Lotus Evora i'd imagine they have an occupancy mat in the passenger seat? but seller hasn't replied to say yes or no. also they don't have airbags but that isn't a problem, also they are heated so would I need the seat module for that part to work 3 stage like standard seats? seems like an awful lot of hassle....

Ideally that's what i'd like to fit, however they are a fortune to buy in comparisson to a set removed from say a Lotus Evora, and also would need retrimmed in nappa leather which the Lotus ones for instance come trimmed in, guess it's really swings and roundabouts whichever way you choose to do it.
