jbl ms8 settings.
So after about a year of looking at all the equipment I decided to finally install the JBL ms8.
Install was pretty straight forward with Technic's harness. Made life so much easier! I converted all my high level inputs to RCA's and used low level input on ms8. Also JT Sherri spacers made installing the subs a breeze! Everyone needs these! Here is setup: Front: CDT Audio CL-41/22 4" 80 watts rms 100 hz high pass. freq response 70-20khz Center: vibe slick 4" 2 way Under seat: Earthquake 8" Rear: Precision power PPI S.42 80 watts rms 100-20khz Just in the process of calibrating/setup and was wondering if anyone can help with my setting/crossover selections. I have base audio in my 2010 E90 and have coded my C.I.C for hifi. I'm currently searching and found lots of info I will try, but was wondering if anyone here has a known good setup that I could try? Thanks guys!

Set front to two-way, center and sides one-way. Use default subsonic (25 hz I think), 100hz 24db/oct highpass for front, center & sides.
If the CDTs sound strained, raise the high pass a little bit, but with 18 watts I doubt they would complain at all. If you're going to use aftermarket amps on the fronts later on, you will need to raise the high pass to at least 150hz.

In other words, if you are after SQ and not going to listen to your music at high volumer (but needs balance at moderate volume), go for 100Hz. However if youre preference is SPL, then starting point should be 150Hz onward for the mids.
