ATF Flush for GM Transmission in GTA
Has anyone been to Ivo or RMP for Automatic transmission fluid change? My car's mileage is racking up and hope to do a transmission flush or change for a piece of mind. Has anyone done this and did you change the drain plug or filter? Did you flush or just drain? I know the car takes Dexron 6 so I will be buying some Redline D6. Thanks in advance.

I went to Ivo's about 2 weeks ago (open on weekends, late on weekdays and great prices). It was for a ZF transmission pan/ filter replacement, sealing sleeve replacement and fluid drain and fill.
I chose to buy the parts myself (replaced at 130k km): 1. ZF Transmission Kit (includes, pan/filter + gasket) from bimmerspecialist.com - $199.00 includes taxes + shipping + duties 2. 6 L of OEM AT Fluid from BMW Maranello - $180 (ask for the MaxBimmer discount) 3. Sealing Sleeve also from BMW Maranello - $18-19 (also on MaxBimmer price) Ivo charged $100 for the full service. I know yours is a GM, which is a little different but Ivo should be able to take care of you. The only thing that I should mention is that Ivo said I needed to go to BMW dealership to get my adaptations reset after the service. I chose not to do this and used the '30 second on the throttle' technique mentioned on the forums to reset it.

I did my change at bimmersport no problem. I have the gm tranny. Changed the filter, pan gasket and mecatronic sleeve (since you have access to it when the pan is out, and the part is cheap). Filled it back up with redline d6 and reset adaptations.
