Hello All,
I believe this has been discussesed, but how do you find out when your cars build date was? Is it on the ticket on the side of the door or can you check via a website with your vin?

It's on the sticker in the door jam... I'd have to look again, but it's like a punched date.

Yep as others have said on the door jam metal plate. It doesn't provide an exact date, just the month and year though. But those of us who actually ordered, and the car was not already produced and on the ocean, are lucky since we know approximately what date the car was completed. Mines was completed approximately 10/13/05.
In fact, my car still had the computer print-out in German of the Option codes, Production order #, spec sheet with a printout date of Oct. 11, 2005.
