I felt like I was a pace car at some sort of exotic race when I was leading the pack lol, lots of ferrari's, a lambo, a viper, lotus, porches, corvettes, etc etc.

Loved the whole thing!, many thanks to Saturn for organizing it, and I loved leading the pack at one point...definitely loved that one strip of winding roads.....everyone thought I was crazy as to how hard I was pushing it. I had to stop and wait for the others to catch up a few times :P

I think the e90post cruises have turned me into a nut...my best friend was riding shotgun and almost pissed his pants lmao.

I will post up some videos and pics soon. Lots to edit.

THANKS AGAIN SATURN!!! I hope we can meet again sometime

So true haha....I had some guys as the end of the cruise coming up to me and saying "well I see you have done this route before", and I told them no, it was my first time, we e90post guys just cruise a lot, and know how to push our cars....and we are a little crazy.

I think that accurately describes us

In all my drives I always promote safe and responsible driving. Anyone who recklessly does any stunts and recklessly drives their car without consideration for the rest of the drivers will be asked to leave and will not be invited to future drives. The people in my drives have cars into the hundreds of thousands and it would piss them off it their car were confiscated and their license revoked for reckless driving or driving 50km over the speed limit.

Havok led the group because he requested he would like to breathe a little. During his time up front he slowed down when he saw people and cyclists. He slowed down to have the group catch up. He slowed down in areas where I pointed out heavier population presence. He was always in control of his car. He led the group as some wanted to have a more spirited drive.

I would commend him on leading the group in the twisties and would invite him to any future drives.
If any of you want to speed...come with me to Mosport and we can do 230 at the back straight after the Moss hairpin. That kind of driving should be left on the track so that your only responsible for your own life and no one elses.

WOW....^^was that post necessary.

None of us said that we do reckless driving during the cruises. We work in the same way as yourself which is to promote safe fun driving. Spirited driving is fine so long as it is safe to do so and respects other types of motoring that also share the roads.

I know Havok is a great driver, as he has been on a few of my cruises, and am glad you guys enjoyed having him lead the pack.

I am talking about the cruises that I create and cruises I have been on.

I've been on a lot of cruises and I have to say this was probably one of the best due to the mix of cars there and responsible driving all around. It made for a great event and even when the OPP was around we had little to worry about!

Thanks again for setting this up Saturn.

I apologize and I hope I did not offend. That was not my intent. I was not assuming anyone was doing any of this. I was just stating my strong belief in the subject matter. I have known 2 close friends in motor vehicle accidents ... one who has no feeling on his left leg and no mobility on his left arm today after 10years. He can not do the dreams he wants today. Another one going back 15 yrs who was jailed and had lost his beloved girlfriends life due to his reckless driving behaviour.

Again I apologize ... its my strong belief on the topic.

cheers.

I understand. No apologizes needed as I have a strong belief on that as well.
I spoke with vantage_coupe on this matter and he clarified it for me. Sorry for sounding harsh, I guess it only takes a few to give the entire brand a bad rep.

I have had quite a few people ask my where to get the stripe, so I know several cars have copied it. I have seen it on an E90 on both fenders, and on a E92, but the stripes were not the same thickness.

Ahh well

Thanks for the kind words Saturn

Definitely requested to be up front to breathe a little, and I enjoyed it tremendously, I liked having the space to open up the car a bit, and at the same time ensure everyone behind me was safe in respect to local traffic, pedestrians, cyclists etc. I think the guys behind me quickly began to realize that if I was slowing down, there was a good reason for it. If I began driving really slow, no one became irate, they all knew something was up, and no one tried to pass me. It was a fantastic group of not only cars, but drivers that made this a fun a cruise.

I am happy to hear that you would invite me back for another run.

One of the things the guys here at e90post are 100% committed to is ensuring safety while take part in these cruises. It's why we always take the radios with us, and constantly keep in contact with each other. We also sometimes discourage new drivers in taking part of cruises if they are not yet comfortable with their car, especially the night cruises. Safety first. I found I learned how to push my car best on the track, and then I was more confident on the road. We don't want people doing it the other way around.

DESI4life10 has organized and led most of the cruises I have taken part in, so I have learned quite a bit from him. I can say, after meeting both of you, that you would both get along great and share the same concepts of safety in these events.

I understand why Saturn posted his comments, and certainly when cruising with these types of cars we need to be safe and outside the radar of the police. No wants their luxury cars impounded, and I can only imagine the fines and insurance rates. I am sure the police we encountered various times would have loved to impound some cars...but we never hinted of giving them a chance to stop anyone.

It truly was a great cruise

Now I need to get some pics and videos up lol.
