Can somebody explain how this can be done on the E9X. I presume someone is unlocking it with aftermarket software?

Most of the Independents BMW Specialists in Australia now run an Autologic. This is the scan tool that constantly gives us all the updates and files we require for the later model cars. The TV in motion is just one of the functions at the click of a few buttons that BMW independents can do nowadays, no need for plug n play solutions.

I know this guy can do it, he covers the SE of Queensland. I got a V.32 update & a new V.16 map, so he unlocked my TV for free whilst I waited for the update to install. Took him about 15 mins in total & cost just $125, glad I didn't have to do it...

had mine unlocked last week via an autologic, quick and easy. far better than any sort of plug and play solution that I had been considering.

FYI have kids in the back sometimes, TV in motion is a great distraction for them. doesn't bother me while driving, esp since kids TV isn't worth watching.

A classic example of someone, in this case "Pigzmickey" totally discrediting a competitor and advertising himself. How dodgy can you get? Or is stupid more relevant, he says " i know a great guy who sorted me out " and lists his own website. Incredible, i think he seriously takes us for fools. Equally interesting is that his website claims Genuine BMW Nav disks for $125. Funny that, i spoke with a good mate of mine who is the service manager at a bmw owned dealership and he told me RRP is $495 and BMW Australia's own cost after licensing and etc is well above what this "Pigzmickey" is selling for. He has passed it onto the fraud team and dont expect this guys website to be around for long. After a little me research it seems Pigzmickey was busted selling these fake disks on ebay and has since stopped, after all the complaints.

Avoid this guy like the plague, this is more than enough evidence to suggest these are 100% fake home made copies.

Has anyone purchased a copy from this crook? Come forward, he should be reported to the federal police for piracy. Its criminals like him that probably push the cost of these disks to $495, who knows.

My advice is, unless you have a phone number and address to pickup from DO NOT BUY. All these crooks hide behind websites and keyboards.

I know of a number of places legitimate NAV disks can be picked up from. You can inspect them for legitimacy in person, what more piece of mind does one need.

I am picking up a 08 E92 M3 on Wednesday, and have promised my 6 year old that she can watch movies next time we go away, so would love to find a local place to unlock the TV.
