335i wastegate rattle????

has any one had any luck getting their waste gate actuators replaced or turbos in any of the local bmw dealerships?????/ my are starting to rattle and really bug me but when i took it in they said it was normal ..... this is really annoying !!!!!!!!! so can any one please tell me if they've had any luck?????

Unfortunately, I don't think you'll have much luck trying to get the dealership fix the wastegate rattle unless you buy a new wastegate actuator from out of your own pocket which can cost around $1500 or upgrade your turbos. Not sure if cobb has it, but Procede has a wastegate fix and I get no more rattles after changing the wastegate position.

Sup O, I had waste gate rattle too after beating the sh*t out of my car, but luckily for me it went away after a while. Did you go to Seattle? You can try another SA I heard Alex L was the best guy to talk to for modified cars. There's also a DIY somewhere on the forums but it only works with pass or driver side turbo, I forget which. Best of luck. Btw text me if you're down for some runs tmrw night, gonna get together with some people

From the top, you can only adjust the Bank 2 (rear)turbo wastegate actuator.

I had my turbos replaced by Seattle BMW about two years ago after a software update failed to fix my rattling wastegates.

Bmw replaced my Turbos 1 year ago...And the rattle is now heavier just with the old turbos gggrrrrr..... >:-(

BMW NW in Tacoma is replacing mine right now. Waiting for the parts to come in.

hey randy so what did you say to them to replace them???? becouse i tried about a year ago and all i got was that its normal for the bmw to sound like that.....my car sound like rattle cans going down the street special shifting through the gears

For a Jo. Like this yes, I recommend u make it as stock as possible.

Got mine replaced 3 months ago due to rattle at bob smith BMW in Calabasas, ca

My SA was really cool about it. My water pump went out and I just told them about the rattle and I got a call from my SA about the turbo/wastegate getting replaced.

I just had both of my wastegate actuators and left exhaust replaced by the dealer .. All I did was complaining to the SA about the exhaust rattle
