Doesn't look like a bad find, I've been looking for a cheap/quality alternative to a Roadhawk but keep putting it off when I really shouldn't. As above I'd rather have one than not.

I've heard that auto windscreens are doing an offer for one (I can't remember the brand) for £45 fitted. I don't know any more about it as I've not followed it up.

Mio have brought out a new range, which look interesting. Look for info on the MiVue 338, 358 or 388 using Google.

Are any of these camera's 'battery' operated? I don't want cables trailing everywhere.

Most,if not all dash cams will be supplied with massive cables-this makes hiding cables quite easy.
There are loads of crap cams out there at cheap prices,so researching is essential-especially if you want decent night vision. Here is an overview which may be useful... http://www.techmoan.com/blog/2013/5/4/a-beginners-guide-to-car-cameras.html |
