Exclamation New v4 4-15 beta maps now publicly available

Previously only available to private beta testers.....

Posted HERE!

Lots of new stuff:

-CANclear functionality
-More Intuitive User Torque Scaling
-Progressive methanol mapping
-Nitrous Control
-6AT Launch control
-Auto-Tune logging parameter

This also means a lot of documentation to read. If you don't want to do this or are a complete n00b to the wonderful world of Procede tuning (we were all there sometime!), stick with the 2-23 maps/firmware which are now non-Beta.

There is nothing wrong with waiting a bit until Auto-Tuning is fully functional. When it is, all you need to do is activate the feature and simply do a few 3rd gear runs and let the Procede dial everything in. So don't feel pressured to jump the gun. Unless you are already running methanol and need progressive meth mapping, of course.

Nice...
I'd like to ask if the "auto-tunning feature" expected to auto adjust the Ign Advance cor. only or other tune parameters as well , in order to know if I should get excited or not.
If you dont want to share specific info yet , a "yes" or "no" will just do.

It will adjust both Ignition Correction and User Torque. And eventually even dial in boost control gain (future use 2).

Thank you Shiv...I was hopping that there would be fuel/AFR adjustments as well.
Don't you think that we could extract more power by custom-tunning this through auto-tune feature"?

AFR targets are closed loop. So there is, in a sense, auto-tuning. But that is done by the DME, not the Procede.

The auto-tuning feature will work better than any amount of manual custom tuning.

I can't wait to try this out! Too bad I have to address my misfire on cyln. 6 on cold startups first...no biggie.

I know the info is probably out there and scattered all over the place, but here is a list of the parameters we should be looking at for this new release. Can anyone tell me what Debug Byte 1 is?

Debug Word 5 -- DME boost target
Debug Word 6 -- DME suction pipe pressure (that's what she said)
Debug Byte 4 -- Learning Value?
Debug Byte 1 -- ??
Debug Byte 6 -- Tune Aggression

Shiv, you should update your sig since auto-tuning has officially been released! Just sayin...

As per vishnutuning.com:

On the other hand, if this value is only in the 0-1 range during most conditions, then your tune is too conservative and you are sacrificing a bit of power. Of course, nothing is wrong with this. But making the tune more aggressive (increasing UT or dropping IC) will raise this value to the "sweet spot" of 2-3, resulting in more repeatable and safe power.

I think you could go slightly more aggressive based on this statement.

You meant 2.0 right? I thought Shiv is now running an M10 nozzle now? I'm happy for you man; now if we could have that N2O wiring diagram from Shiv, then we'll be golden.

It can be 0.2. It can even go as low as 0 if there is a complete absense of ignition retard. Just make sure you see it moving around a bit. If it's stuck at one value, then you probably set up the datalog channels wrong. Or didn't drop the latest datalog set-up files into your procede folder.

The set up info:
