New Owner - Just Saying Hello

Hey everyone,

New BMW owner just posting to say hello. Picked up my silver 330i about a month ago - couldn't be happier Hoping to meet up sometime in the future and get back into the enthusiast circles.

Congrats on the 330i! I am currently at the beginning of the long wait for my black 330i. It seems that the Mid-Atlantic forum is fairly active, and I look forward to attending a few meets, too. The last one looks like it was well attended, judging by the photos here.

Heh, thanks. I'm gonna try and fend off the mod monkey as much as possible

One of the reasons I actually got the 330 was that it had everything I wanted "right out of the box" so to speak. Nice wheels, nice handling, decent HP/TQ ... an all around great package.

My other choice was the new A4 2.0 ... but then I'd have to throw in a chip, coilovers, new wheels, yadda yadda yadda - and then worry about warranty issues. So common sense took over and I got the 330

I give you one whole month before your crack

We're doing a DC metro group install/meet/bbq for the LUX rings kit (angel eyes mod) sometime soon. Local member FrankoQ has generously offered to host out group install at his place..

More info here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...&highlight=Lux

As bavarian19 mentioned, we are planning another e90post meet sometime in the near future. We are discussing ideas and venues now and will update all as soon as we have some solid ideas

Once again, welcome to the family

Welcome Sam. I sincerely warn you to leave this forum as soon as possible and not come back. Your yearning for mods will begin very soon if you don't heed my warning. Then it's all downhill from there... Pretty soon, you'll be broke and living in your brand new E90.

But you'll be one pimpin' homeless dude!

Thanks man. But I'm telling you and the rest of the east coast crew -- no mods!

I plan on living vicariously through all of you. Blacklines? Nope. Lux/Brex? Nah. Twin pipes? Pass. Intake? No thanks. Tint? Hmmmmm ...

Seriously though, I'm leasing this puppy and hoping it's a transition car to a new M3 down the line My son can work two jobs and go to college - right?

Haha, yes he can. I was able to do it. Of course, my parents didn't have bimmers at the time either.
