I'm interested to know how this goes. I'm not impressed with the standard 330d setup.

Yeh there on, been on for 2 weeks now and make a huge diffrence -

Discs and calipers are a straight bolt on, no modification requred.

The 335 setup has much better initial bite and can scrub of speed far quicker than the 330d setup.

Spirited driving on A roads the 335 setup is far more resistant to brake fade.

All in all i would say a very worthwhile and easy upgrade.

Excellent

How much did the setup cost and where did you get them from?

Parts came from Auto Sparez UK in Scotland.

This car - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-335D-C...item20bf5aa2b7

Cost wise your looking around the 250 - 300, i got offerd a couple of setups, then a couple of hrs labour to fit, unless you can DIY.

Thanks for that. I didn't know whether you purchased them new, or through a different source!

Cheers.

Thread revival! I've been reading through brake upgrade options as I bought a 330d a couple of months ago and the brakes are terrible compared to my Integra.
I have a set of BMW 17s for my winter wheels. Do you know if these calipers and discs fit under 17s?

Stock 335 brakes fit under almost all BMW 17" wheels.

Great thanks. Will I need the caliper carrier brackets as well? I've read through loads of threads and some people say you do and some say you don't?
