Help, how do select items in the DVD menu?

I put in a Matrix movie into the new iDrive 2009 dvd system.

I am able to pull up the side dvd menu of the idrive on the left side.

When the DVD reaches the main menu where you select:

Play - Select Episode - Options

the cursor is stuck on Play. But I want to select 'Select Episode'. I have tried everything from disablling the idrive side dvd menu to going full screen, I just can not figure out how to move the cursor to select the 'Select Episode' or 'Options'.

My only option is to push-down on the knob to hit Play.

It's quite tricky. I've found it hard to navigate to the DVD menus as well. There's some trick to it that I haven't figured out yet. But I have selected scenes and episodes on DVDs before.

I think there is something you select on the left side menu to enable control of the menus as I remember.

I cant remember exactly, I will have to look sometime. I know there was like a mode you had to go into to allow you to control the menu with the idrive controller.

I think you just have to click the controller on DVD Menu (which hides the regular play/stop menu of the idrive) and then you can navigate the menu (you may have to click one more time where it says enable dvd menu on the top of the screen after you clicked to exit the idrive menu).
