FS: OEM BMW Performance Carbon Fiber Strut Brace, **LOWER PRICE**
I am selling OEM BMW Performance Carbon Fiber Strut Brace for all naturally-aspirated six-cylinder E90/91/92/93 N52 engine cars (not for the 335, see below). The brace is in mint condition and ready to install. I no longer have my e91 328i xDrive, so I am selling the intake. I am asking $650 which includes the cost of shipping in the Continental US (lowered price based on previously sold braces). I can take pics, if required. Item will ship in original boxes and packaging with installation instructions. With its sporty design and resilient characteristics, the BMW Performance Strut Brace makes each view of the motor compartment a satisfying experience. Increases structural stability by strengthening the body between the strut towers Extremely lightweight yet stable construction thanks to hollow carbon profile and brackets made of aluminum Manufactured using cutting edge CAD and FEA technology to ensure optimum fitting accuracy and OEM quality Available for all naturally-aspirated six-cylinder E90/91/92/93 N52 engine cars (not for the 335) **Supposedly will fit 335 models with washer spacers used, according to some research on threads on this site** Last edited by mercury26; 01-31-2013 at 11:17 AM.. |

The price was based on the pricing offered over at Tischer (discounted since it is used) on the same part. Do you know where it can be purchased for $400-500? I am willing to be flexible on price, if the same part. The item is in brnad new condition with original packaging. |

Nice find - but even that one isn't going for $500
As a comparison a new NA BMW PE can be found @ around $1000 shipped on the forums usual selling price used is $800-850 That's only $150-200 off new price, and people have a feeding frenzy to snatch them up at that price - and that's for a part that shows deterioration during use as it's exposed to the elements. A used strut bar isn't going to show any use from new, under normal circumstances, so why would a selling price of 1/3 the original cost be fair? Just sayin...

Thanks, I clean the engine bay on all my cars about once a month. Clean leaves out of the bay drains, sunroof drains, etc. Backed up drains in your car or home are never a good thing.
Also, the strut brace was never used or abused. I never tracked the car or did any driver events. Also, very low mileage on the brace/ Thanks, Chuck |
