Good Price for a 128i Premium Brand New?
Hey guys,
My friend is looking to purchase a brand new 128i Premium Package. Dealership is offering $624 per month (including taxes), with a two grand deposit. This is for financing not leasing. Wondering if this is a good/decent deal, or if she should try and ask for more...perhaps a winter set of rims and tires as well? Hoping to hear from you guys. I also posted in the 1 series forums. She will need probably decide in the next few hours. |

Theres not enough info.
Dealers will typically try to fixate people on the the monthly payments. Tell her to work out a final purchase price with some amount of discount off of sticker price, then work the financing out from there. Unfortunately, I dont know what a good discount for a 1er is these days. I got about 8 points off of sticker when I bought my car 4 years ago. |

However, she just told me the $624.00 per month is based on a balloon payment, so at the end there is still payment of just over $11,000.00. I told her not to do it. I have balloon payments, its rigged for people that can't really afford the car, or get tricked into the low monthly payments. At the end of the day, you have paid too much for it. I'm going to Downtown BMW tomorrow, and see what I can get a sale rep to give me for the same car she wants. |

Hey Havok,
I suggest you speak to 1lyfe. He has a new F30 328i and has an amazing deal. Maybe his sales guy can hook up your lady friend. Cheers! |

its too expensive for her, and she drives a lot, so at the end of the day, I'll have to deal with the car more than her when parts start to go, and turbos start to cause issues, etc etc.
PS: She is not allowed to have a car faster than mine. I FORBID IT!! lolsss jk jk |

I dont want her to do balloon payments. The offer they gave her for $624 a month was with a balloon payment of over 11 grand at the end. I think its a rip-off. Regular financing, or no car....all other options just gauge at your wallet.
