How much is it reasoanble to pay for a resonator delete on a n51/n52?
i had my resonator taken off and replaced with a straight pipe on my clk500 and it ran like $30 bucks! i called some places and they are telling me prices $150+ which i found ridiculous but then i did realize that the resonator on the n52/n51 is a duel in single out so they would need to use a y pipe so i understand it will be a bit more but how much is reasonable to pay?
thanks!

I had a new exhuast installed and my resonator removed during the same install. That ran me $110. I believe the exhaust install was $60, so a resonator delete at $50 sounds about right.

Cost me $40 but never heard anything cheaper than that. You shouldn't pay more than $60.

Mike's Muffler in El Monte. Their work and prices are great. Mike the owner is very humble and great to work with.

Valley Muffler is also another option. Was deciding between Mike's Muffler and Valley Muffler. Went with the cheaper option and it closer to me.

i tried valley muffler and they told me 100 something. i forget exactly. i was gonna goto mikes that day but it was closed for some reason.
i just ended up doing it for like 120 at a place in LA because everywhere i asked was about the same and i didnt have time to try to goto mikes again. i think mikes quoted me 70 ish over the phone but they said they have to see it to give me a final price.

Never knew a resonator delete would cost that much, I got my muffler deleted for $40 at a local muffler shop over here and i'm sure the sound is the same as a resonator delete.

I had a resonator delete with a stock muffler first few months of having my car. If I remember right it was only slightly deeper. $40 is what most places charge for either.

ar eu planning on doing the res delete and still use the stock rear section? As other have mentioned theres really not much difference at all if any. Youre better off getting a new rear section

It makes your interior more noisy and you feel more vibrations through the car...
