At Palmersport they run 205bhp clios in full stripped out racer trim on the same track at at the same time as their 'semi-racer' 320 bhp Porsche 911 GP3's.
The clios are superb little things. Quick, grippy and chuckable, although predominantly biased to understeer. The 911's destroy them though. |

On the day that a Porsche 911 driver passes/dominates a Clio and says 'Yeah bitch, I destroyed you' then the Clio has done it's job as far as I am concerned. Matt |

So in the same vein, because the 335i driver EVEN acknowledged my existence by flexing his probably loafer clad foot, i win by proxy? JJ |

I think that you can only claim a 'win' if you are actually in competition with someone.
Driving a car quickly in the same postcode as another reasonably fast car does not constitute a competition. |

Otherwise I didn't score some WIN against a minicab, a mondeo, several corsas and a hearse today. I kicked that hearses arse off the line, yo. Thing is I pulled in in front of him, and there was another hearse in front. So I had one in front and one behind. They didn't seem very happy that I'd cut up their little convoy. Should have won the race then. Not my problem

His quickest run on the 1/4 was this one... He never got a good run on the 1/4 when running NOS, as every time he ran with the gas on, it encounted problems (safe mods etc).. Having said that, 12's is easily possible with just Exhaust, Intake, Fuel pump and software. That's with nothing removed and on standard street tyres.. So FWD hatches can cut it sometimes.. Still 112mph is a good trap speed, similar
to C63! What 60ft on that run?! I remember this car now!

Don't forget that us FWD boys haven't got the grip off the line you RWD boys have (especially when using semi slicks ).. I only managed a 2.44 on my PB.. But conditions weren't great to be fair.. |

Still think with decent Tyres a 350+HP fwd car can do 2.0 on a good day!

Never tried slicks or semi slicks (888's etc), but would be interesting to try. I've always wanted to get the best result possible with the car at the same spec as it's used every day for work.. |

I thought it was only legal to overtake a funeral procession if you overtake the line of funeral vehicles in its entirity. If you overtake part of the procession that is illegal. Correct me if i'm wrong. Either way I would not overtake unless it was an easy overtake and it was the entire convoy; its disrepectful for a minor gain in progress.
