The one where a poor straight guy was taken advantage of and then died in his pool. Barrymore did a runner if I remember correctly! What happened and why did they not find evidence to screw the fucker over??

Looking at it,I think there were too many questions than answers and basically,it couldn't be established exactly how Stuart Lubbock died.
The facts are that he had a combination of drugs and alcohol in his system.Whether he took them or they were forced upon him-who knows.
It's fact that he had massive anal and internal injuries.Its never been established how these were sustained.His family believe he was raped and murdered.
Rumours are that he was fisted or a chair leg was stuffed up his arse which may have caused his death-never been established.
The question of whether Lubbock was gay or curious and whether he wholly,partly or didn't consent is another question.
Evidence was lost and it seems that this has left questions about what actually happened...
Barrymore was cautioned for possession of cannabis and allowing it be smoked in his property-the only thing that could be proven.

Strange that your bringing this up so long after the event.

All I know about it is that it killed Barrymores career dead.

I was talking at work about some fucker who got away with something, fuck knows who now.... (hopefully it will come back to me) and I remembered the Barrymore thing. He should have gone down I think personally. I know it was sketchy, but some poor guy died... and with massive internal injuries...

was a massive cover up! barrymore used his house for all sorts of parties!
where the house was/is pretty quiet, nobody can hear you scream.

very tragic for thats guys family though, that there was no real way of convicting anyone, all those with any knowledge of it all seemed to just be able to walk away.
someone must have known something, and i think the police made a hash of the investigation as well.
