Rolling Fenders?
Hey guys my cousin drives a 2000 e46 328i and he put 18 inch rims on there and he was told that after he puts the rims on he will have to get his fenders rolled....now the second the rims were installed he noticed the rubbing between the tires n the body so he took it to Tire Kingdom performance to get his fenders rolled but they said that they couldn't do it bcuz if they roll the fenders it would crack the paint bc its a single piece....is this tru? to this day he is driving with rubbing against the body when ppl sit in the back of his car...does anybody kno of a solution??? thnx

They don't want to do it because it's a liability issue. When rolling fenders, there is always a chance of cracking the paint. You can minimize the chance by using a heat gun and doing it slowly while rolling.
Solution- find someone in your area that can do it. |
