planning to buy an exhaust, but will bednding/changing where it exits change sound?

meaning, i would like to get ae's or ams exhaust...

BUT say i get daul singles and later on i switch to quads, is it still easy to keep the sound or will i mess up the sound by changing exhaust locations?

(i would be switching to some kind of insane diffuser later in time)

not sure I understand you completely, but if your asking if you can switch a dual exhaust into a dual exhaust w/ quad tips the answer is yes.

you should be able to do that w/ minimal fuss and no change to the sound.

i thought he was saying changing it to something like a center exit exhaust like a lambo or the R32... that i would think might change the sound since your changing the direction of the pipes but i would not think by much... adding different tips should not change the sound at all... i just ordered the AE quad tip and they said its a bit louder but thats not because its a different tip its because it adds another pipe coming outta the muffler.

It should fit that diffuser based on the measurements I've seen for it.

As far as the Quad exhaust sound, since I had the dual system on my personal car for several thousand miles, and have now had the quad exhaust for a few thousand as well.. The overall sound volume is minimally louder, infact, its almost not even noticeable but it does sound just a tad more aggressive, and the burbling sound you get when your decelerating in gear is a bit more pronounced. We should have some sound clips of the quad system to show very soon here... the video was already taken.
