Suggestions

While changing my fog light bulbs the other day, I realized there was a screw in my run flat tires. I\'m not sure how long it\'s been there, but I haven\'t noticed any drop in pressure or anything of that sort. What would you guys recommend I do? I don\'t know if you\'re able to fix run flats or not. Thanks in advance.

Where is the screw/nail located on the tire? Is it on the tread or near the shoulder? If its in the middle of the tread, you can repair this easily with a repair kit from your local auto supply store. I would recommend using a plug and not a patch.

Wherever it is, in my experience you'll have to fix it yourself. No wheel/tire shop I've ever been to has been willing to patch or plug run-flats.

Noticed this when I put on my winter tires. What's better, plug or patch?

I just noticed a huge nail in my RFT. Brought it to discount tire and they fixed if for free

I took mine to sears. There was a nail in the center of the tread. It's been fine for 10k miles.

Discount Tire will fix practically any automobile tire, and they do it for free. There are certain brands that cannot be repaired, but as long as its a Michelin, BFGoodrich, Goodyear, Dunlop, or Bridgestone you should be ok, those are repairable unless its in the shoulder/sidewall.

I wouldn't recommend any at home repair, they are usually temporary at best.
