C3 I wouldn't associate with a C3...

But M3 would be (generally speaking) with BMW M3's

If it was going in a Merc then no biggie.

It's not a big deal on the 335 in all honesty..

But the OP did buy it for an M3 originally. Hence can understand his slight apprehension.

just out of interest i read an article about an m3 being run back from south of france, the witer concluded he could nave done the journey quicker in a diesel as he wouldnt have had to keep stopping for fuel

I was speaking from a heroes perspective. In the action/thriller movies the hero sometimes ends up in a rubbish unloved 20 yro mini cooper or citreon 2cv or similar, and they outrun the badguys with their big scary 6 pots!!

So the moral of the story is.....
