Mario K- Prima Donna BBS RC090 Build Thread!- Updated!!

I'm in story mode so bare with me, or if TL;DR I bought a set of style 5s lol

Things don't always go as planned...

My original plan was to pick up a set of ES7 in 19x11r or some used CCWs. But with a couple of big speeding tickets and a trespass fine for the airplane photoshoot, that plan was quickly put on hold.

I was sick of the TSW wheels on the car now, I've had them for almost 4 years and it was time for something new. So I started looking for a temporary set. Found a great set of LM reps for cheap and I was on my way to pick them up when the seller sent me a picture of a crack on two spokes. That was a no go for me. I was super bummed out, but then I came across a set of clean style 95s, they were sold before I was off work for the day.

I had said to my self oh well I guess I'll just get new tires for the TSW wheels and call it a day. But then this near mint set of style 5s popped up for a price too good to be true. Scooped them up immediately!

The plan for now is to polish them, get some new tires, and some rs caps. Already ordered the hub centric rings. Future plan is to rebarrel to 18s.

For the longest time I've wanted to rock a BBS cap, and now I finally can!!

Update!!! Gold bolts from England and hubcentric rings are here, wheels are apart and centers are currently being painted pearl metallic white, Hankook tires ordered and are on the way along with red bbs caps and bbs valve stem caps! All I have to do now is remove the clear from the lips, polish, and then reassemble! Lots of progress in this past week.

Hardware shot

Left clean, right clean lips dirty barrels

Centers- right with about 2 hours of cleaning, left with more hours of cleaning

Centers painted metallic pearl white. OEM Audi color, damn expensive but so worth it!

Decided to go for a semi polish instead of full polish. I think it looks great and haven't seen many do this

And all the hardware waiting to be put back together

They're are bbs RC's and I tried test fitting them on my e90 and wouldn't clear the front.

I'm not a big fan and I test fit cuz I have an e36 and fits that era. This era is all about style 95s
