335i options

Hi All

Have been lurking for a while but this is my first post here, I've been on the e60 forums but thinking about trading to either 08 335i sedan (maybe they have great deals before the facelift?) or wait for 09. the 530i is just boring for me on a long cruise, provided that I don't have a sport pack

meanwhile, I have several questions regarding the configuration:
I've seen a lot (from sigs =P), if not most, of the 335s here were loaded with nav/zcw/CA/etc but I am not sure if I would need those. Is there anyone who ordered 335 with just limited options, like just ZPP and ZSP?

Here's what I would need:
335i sedan
Metallic Paint
ZPP
ZSP
STEP w/ paddles
iPod (I've searched in this forum and some says it would be harder to use without iDrive? I searched but couldn't really find pics on how would it display in the small non-iDrive display)

What's the common/popular options on 335s here for Calif owner?
I know ZSP and ZPP is a must for me, but I'd like to know more on other options that is typically equipped on 335i sedan

making it fully loaded would cost $5K more

thanks guys. advise is appreciated

If you're interested in finding out which options are "typically equipped," I would go to Edmunds.com and look at their TMV Configurator. You'll see a little "T" by some options, which means that they're commonly equipped on dealer inventory.

My personal advice is, especially if you're leasing, only get the options you would actually use. I wanted iDrive, iPod, PDC and a Sports Package, but I didn't want to pay extra for leather, heated seats or headlamp washers. Don't pay for what you won't use, particularly where resale isn't a concern.
