I say, leave the top exposed and paint the back white. But, that would only work if you either paint or vinyl up your top, and if you also either paint the middle of your current hood black or buy a cf hood and only paint the sides of it white leaving the middle cf. Lovveeeee that look

looking for pics, will update soon

+1 !!! looks hot! you dont even need to change the roof. but the hood and trunk like that would look so sick. ESP on AW!

Do you have CF accents throughout the entire car? If you do, then I would go with leaving just the "strip" exposed. If not, then paint the entire trunk.

best close-up shots found on the forums..as i've mentioned its actually D'z 's car not mine (drZ) hehe..though option3 is nice i think you'd get tired of having the plate area bare cf but that's just me..goes well too with a cf difuser

Here's my contribution. Just got it installed today. The trunk is open on the first pic so don't trip.

+1. I think it looks better with CF only in the inner line. It looks kinda goofy in some pics I've seen when CF is exposed all the way to the outer line. I might do this to my trunk

i think option 3 is best. You painted for CF trunk, might as well show it off to non-bmw enthusiast that your trunk is CF! ,, just my 2 pennies.

I would paint it, but keep it thin so that CF weave shows through a bit if this is possible.

To my eye, unpainted CF hood and trunk look as if they owner couldn't afford to paint his B-part bonnet-trunk replacement. From distance, that's what it looks like IMHO. But I know some people think it's a cool look, so each to his own.
