For those with Mtec Kits on their xenon assemblies

What did you do to cover the hole where the oem ballast is supposed to go. I doubt it, but does the mtec ballast directly replace the oem ballast in the same position?

I havent seen the kit yet, so im not sure how the install goes, can someone give me a brief rundown of the install before i jump into this. thanks.

you have to plug the hole. The mtec ballast doesn't fit and needs to be routed somewhere else. I have mine zip tied lower down the engine bay.

I used some duct tap from the inside to cover it. Then slowly used some quick dry epoxy to fill the whole thing.

your mtec ballast has to be routed somewhere, its up to you "OP" as to where to put it, just make sure you secure it tightly

your mtec kid should come with some extra stuff so you can bolt it on to your engine bay, PM if you have anymore questions
