For those with Mtec Kits on their xenon assemblies
What did you do to cover the hole where the oem ballast is supposed to go. I doubt it, but does the mtec ballast directly replace the oem ballast in the same position?
I havent seen the kit yet, so im not sure how the install goes, can someone give me a brief rundown of the install before i jump into this. thanks. |

you have to plug the hole. The mtec ballast doesn't fit and needs to be routed somewhere else. I have mine zip tied lower down the engine bay.
I used some duct tap from the inside to cover it. Then slowly used some quick dry epoxy to fill the whole thing. |

i didnt get anything yet. I am upgrading from halogen to xenons and bought some assemblies without the ballasts. i was on the verge of spending 500+ for oem ballasts when i realized i could just get a kit. I will pm you.
