can i paint my stock calibers or would i need to buy new calibers that are that color?

Do a search and there should be a DIY incase you need one.

yea i found those when i searched it before. I'm not sure if I will do it myself or have my mechanic do it for me. Not sure I trust myself haha warranty isnt affected by this either correct?

Ha, unless you manage to screw something up when you're putting everything back together, no. I haven't painted calipers but I have changed brake pads which is a pretty similar process. The disassembly and assembly are pretty simplistic. Just don't go to town on them with a huge brush. Take your time, clean them well, and you'll be fine.

painting calipers has been around for awhile and a simple search on google of all places would give great step by steps, granted the examples are mostly done on civics but that is okay it is all the same concept.
