Its not that they are "bad" per say. I just dont think they are the best way to determine what car is faster/stronger. I feel that using a NHRA certified 1/4 mile track with proper timing equipment or an actual dyno is a much better way.

Are the best. Plain and simple. No need to be defensive about it, as I also have push fittings and slowly changing over compression fittings.
No one is getting defensive. I never ha any problems with push fittings either.
So to ME it's hard to justify the price on the so called superior product.

The CM metal push in fittings are pretty good. The AM compression fittings are nice also, but the PWM kit also uses push in fittings on the nozzles, so both are used in that kit. We're only talking about $30 retail of fittings either way. I know BMS is considering including compression fittings also at some point just because they are a bit cleaner.

Lol. That's my point. Notice the smiley face.

Those were the two advertised benefits of the Pwm kit over the pps.

You guys can say whatever you want about pricing and which kit is better or whatever I could care less. Fact is, the cars were dead even. The only time he pulls me is when I am baby shifting into 4th. I lose all my boost shifting because of how slow I am shifting so the clutch wouldn't slip. None the less, no one car is faster than the other, whichever one started first, stayed out in front. New clutch will be ordered next week.

Also I wouldn't say I have a bunch of lightweight mods as mike stated. I have lighter wheels, a hood, and exhaust. Trunk is not carbon so it may weigh ~5lbs less than stock and the rotors I have a hard time believing are any lighter than stock.

Trunk is barely lighter, Carbon hood is 15lbs lighter, benefits of light wheels for 3rd gear acceleration are neglible, rotors are 1lb lighter, etc. If you have the AMS or HPF exhaust, it's 35lbs..if regular SS dual exhaust, 22lbs lighter.

The difference in weight in your car is very neglible.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, JB guys have to find any little thing to say I have an advantage

It was all good in fun though. I want to change my intercooler piping, and I am getting forged DVs or the Helix BOVs, pretty sure my plastic DVs are leaking at the boost I am running now. Those 2 things along with a clutch, new shocks, and M3 rear subframe bushings will be on for the next match up.

I also want to play with a few parameters, I haven't touched anything from what the off the shelf install guide tells you so I'm sure there is some tweaking that can be done.

Thats not the case. I posted that because you have mentioned how much lighter your car is before.

False. He never passed me. Whether he will be faster in the future I can not say. We are about even as of now.

So its faster past 130? Okay, I was ahead until then. So my car is faster 0-130? What are you saying? I pulled at first, then we were even. Then he reeled me in a little, but never passed. So he obviously was not faster to 130.
