2005 320D issues

Hi all.

I really need some advice please. My 320D was working fine with no issues until Christmas time. I parked it up for a week whilst away with family. Upon returning went to start the car and nothing ! Connected jump leads and car would crank but not start. Code reader threw up a load of codes so reset them and still nothing.

I done some googling and changed a couple of relays, still nothing. I read 1 of the codes I had appear related to the crankshaft sensor so changed that too. Still the car won't fire up.

Below is the diagnostic report I have now. But would someone please advice on what I can check next. I'm a single parent and moneys tight so I can't afford to send to a garage just yet without knowing what the outcome would be. So I need to try as many options as I can first.

Please help me..

Sounds like a bundle of joy!

When you try and start, does it keep cranking, or only crank for about 3s then give up?
Have you charged the battery fully? What voltage are you seeing at rest?
Did you use a genuine BMW part for the crank sensor?
Have you cleared these faults since charging the battery?
When you connect the jump leads, you used the terminals under the bonnet, right? Not connecting directly to the battery in the boot?

None of the faults seem like they'd prevent starting, and there are some odd codes...so my hunch is just that it's unhappy about low voltage still.

Sounds like you need to start off by replacing and coding a new battery. Then clearing the faults and trying again.
