Replacing bulb for radio knob and programmable buttons
Has anyone done this before? I bought my car used a few months ago and now with it getting dark sooner I'm figuring it's worth replacing now. unless of course it's supposed to be this way, which I find kind of ridiculous, but who knows ..
Any clues/help/hints would be appreciated. |

To be honest it's probably easier to just find a used OEM radio and replace it. There's a lot of guys on the forum that have done head unit swaps that may have the old one laying around. Id hook you up with mine but I plan to return my car to stock when I sell it.
The issue with replacing the bulbs is that they are most likely LEDs soldered to the circuit board. So youd have to take out your HU and send it to a guy that can replace them. If you decide to go that route let me know I know a couple places that might do it for ya. |
