Got the word today that my car is due here in Phoenix on Sunday the 12th. Not bad turnaround time out of California. Probably will be able to pick up Monday night.

Mine has reached the stealership as of tonight.. not bad, arrived on Hual Tokyo and already here in Phoenix. Won't be ready till Monday as that when it's getting tinted. But I'll head over for a peek tomorrow.

My car arrived early evening yesterday (Friday) and it was unfortunately too late to be processed and checked for its final inspection.

Therefore, I'll be picking it up on Monday after work.

I wanted to get it this weekend so badly... detail it and all, but that'll have to wait a bit longer. I'll be tinting the windows on Thursday --35% Llumar all-around except for front windshield-- and debadging as well (I simply like the look better without the numbers). Other than that I won't be touching it... sport package, power sport seats, steptronic, burl... Monday honestly won't come fast enough!

I've really enjoyed being part of this forum. There's been so much great information shared and I hope to take better care of my new ride because of it. Thanks everybody!

whack. BMW SD is the worst dealership ever.

The car didn't come in yet but I went there today to figure out OTD pricing. When I put down my deposit in December, we agreed to $1000 over KBB/Edmunds invoice (I had him itemize the car + options and write down a number). Today, I went in and they added on MACO ($300), Training Fee ($180), and Satellite Prep ($70) and would not work with me. I told them I'm not paying those fees because it wasn't in the orignal agreement and they basically told me to screw off.

Anyway, I walked and will put a deposit down for the coupe next week at Brecht BMW.

Dude, that sucks ASS!! Did you speak to the general manager of the stealership? Was any of your original agreement in writing? When I put down my deposit, the entire transaction was written up, right down to their cheesy doc fee & T&L. NO MACO, phantom options, or other bogus fees. I hope there's some resolution other than you having to wait all over again, that's brutal!

My car showed up last night and will be ready for pickup Monday night, I at least got to see it today... yes, the back end DOES successfully clear that curb, but I wouldn't want to put a couple of fat chicks in the back seat before moving it, could be a problem!

Got to the dealer today at 11:00... told my CA not to touch it. They had written, "DO NOT DETAIL" in big red "marker" on the windshield. All the plastic was on it and no plates drilled. Got through the entire process by 2:30. Went to eat some lunch, came back and washed and cleaned as much as I could before the sun went down. So much to do still.... add the blacklines sitting here, clean my windows, spray down my tires, and then... Klasse it. I'll post pics when I'm ready to show her.

Niiice pres... you know, I can't tell you how much of a relief it was after picking up my car. Three months of waiting and stressing have been lifted from my shoulders. Now I'm stressing over waxing and tinting.

Tinting tomorrow, then waxing, then pictures.

Today the BMW dealer is doing his thing ...Tuesday the tinting guy does his....Wednesday the clear bra, man and then it goes home .......Ordered December 7th....

i take my hats off to you. stood up for your principles, refused to be drawn into getting ripped off even after waiting so many months.

isn't there a way to talk to the top person at the dealership? it really is not fair on you, seems like you are being punished where the dealership deserves to be.

you could complain to BMWNA, you could make them aware that you will be posting your experience on the most widely subscribed BMW groups,....
