$5 check for a survey?

I got a letter in the mail from Maritz Research asking me to fill out a customer satisfaction questionaire concerning purchase of my recent vehicle. Included is a $5 check to my name from Royal Bank.

Anybody else get this?

My wife got stuff like that a couple of times before on different consumer product surveys.

I also got it...fill almost 75%..you don't really need to get them the truth anyway..just fill something and mail it back to them and cash the cheque =)

That reminds a few months back someone called the office and wanted to speak to a professional in my field. I am the only one in my office so I pick it up. It ends up a survey about marketing of a specific type of product related to my field. I answer all of his questions and slowly getting impatient inside as the survey gets longer and longer. Then we were done and I go back to my regular business.

A few weeks later I recieved a thank-you letter and $25 cash for answering the survey. Totally unexpected.

I wouldn't mind doing these surveys if it's for cars... you may get call backs after if you fit into their demography and invite you to test cars out...

well it took me 9 days, but i completed the damn survey! now i can cash that cheque and not feel so guilty. lol.

One of my jobs in high school was to stuff (back then) a $2 bill into each of those JD Power surveys. Fun times!

I was also responsible for verifying/quantifying all the incoming results, and it was quite funny to see what some people think and write.
