Nah thats a placebo affect dude. imo No way the gearchange could be affected by remap. Electronic circuitry versus mechanical joints etc Mines been mapped but felt no different in that respect.

Anyway, get the CDV removed and the problem will be resolved.

Personally I like the notchy box Its like they say, if its heavy it must be good. Heavy is quality.

The gearbox change itself is notchy and always has been, but after the remap mine just seems easier to change gear. When I say that, what I mean is that I do not have to concentrate so much on the clutch/accelerator when I change gear, I now feel I can snap the clutch up where before I had to slip the clutch more to get a smooth change. Maybe just my imagination but the car now feels more forgiving in the change.
