Seat belt warning Bleep

Is it possible to turn this off? When i park car to open garage all you can here is the bleeping noise,drives me nuts lol
I guess i could turn off engine,but

P.S i aint talking about driving without the belt on

go to a breakers yard find a smashed up E90 and cut out the metal clip that should do the trick

No unfortunately not, been asked a million times. Apart from what JJ said, clipping a used buckle into it theres no other way (or pulling across the passenger side one).

Shame though, with my old Range Rover you could simply press a few buttons in sequence and it would turn it off.

Yes - this can be coded off, we're done this in our M3.

I dont get it?

If you had your belt on when approaching the garage, then if you wait till you've nearly stopped before taking your belt off then the beeper will NOT sound when you get out....

I do this several time a day having to get out to unlock acces gates whilst at work.

My same thinking as I do the same on approch to home. Bleep does not start till traveled a good distance over speeds of 5 mph.

yeah is very annoyin!! old buckle shud do the trick, not sure if it will hav 2 b of an e90 tho?? a shud think any buckle shud do.
