Probably he had a hot date lined up or similar and wanted to get away!

I can't see the DPF on a 2 litre engine being situated further away from the engine - it needs to be there for maximum heat.

Is your exhaust tailpipe straight or turned down?

//edit - tailpipe turned down I see - I would say you haven't got a DPF fitted.

I doubt he would have a date to be honest, he had a face like a joiners nail bag. Aye, I think there has been some porkies myself now. A bit unhappy with that tbh. Was confident with him as well as he seemed to know his stuff.
