After having the X5 and now the M3 I am very impressed by what BMW is doing in the driving dynamics department. Believe they are are close if not on par with most tech/luxury items and when you throw in the driving experience, game over...

I don't think I could ever part with my ///M. If life is good maybe I can buy an f model ///M or just save the pennies for an ///M5 but still keep the my M3.

The reason that the 3er does so well with C&D is that it happens to meet the institutional taste of that magazine very well, which I think tends to go for "refined but connected". On the flip side, it doesn't do well with Consumer Reports (yes, this is a chance to bash CR and show the world that you are a true car enthusiast) at all, even though they love the G37. Different priorities. Not that I disagree with C&D that much, after all I think all of my previous cars were on the 10Best list at one point or another. |

I had an A5 for a year, and its a lovely car. It all boils down to personal opinion, since they are very similar in performance, materials, and style. I always wanted the BMW though coupe, though.

Surprise surprise. It's almost unfair to other car makers. But hey, when you are the best it's hard for other to keep up (even if it is after 22 years of trying) LOL

Hope my e90 m3 lasts at least 10yrs. I worry about the DCT holding up, sometimes.
Love it. But, almost wish I could trade it for an e30. Such a classic machine! |

I shouldn't have said "afford." I meant the payments on a lease are easier to pay than financing. But I can afford the car, that's not the problem.
