Differential mounts diy?

Hey guys, I searched a ton, but no luck (I'm sure I didn't look well enough...)

Is there a diy to do all 3 diff mounts? Does the sub frame need to come out?

Thanks

Don't think so. But punching the bushings out will always be a bit of pain in the ass.

Garage List
The subframe can remain in place to remove the diff and bushings.

Well, if you swap diff bushings on a convertible, the reinforcement bulkhead is pretty much smack in the way of the rear (large) bushing. And the AKG poly bushing I used installed from the back; had to drop the subframe quite a bit to get a clear shot at the bushing mount.

Yes, I know what are you talking about but Volasko has an e90. only the e93 has the reinforcement. You can still do it without dropping the subframe but need to have specialty tools.

Yep, only the e93. Didn't know what flavor he had. Just giving the heads up for other lucky 'vert owners.
