I spoke to the owner of JIC Cross about that. The '30 day warranty' is out of respect for abuse, if its something like abnormal like it randomly starts leaking or something and if you buy from an authorized dealer - the warranty can be pushed to as as much as 1 year. Which we have agreed with them, I will point out they have a mechanism inside the shock if it was used outside of normal bounds (ie car lands into a ditch).

So the concern of a shock blowing out is just about a non-issue we can get you taken care of, as well as if work is needed on you're system we can always get single components replaced on the JIC Cross.

Thanks Ron! My expectations aren't that a blown shock or strut gets replaced forever regardless of usage, but I have read where some have gone bad in a short amount of time (not JIC Cross, but others.) I can totally see not covering damage from abuse (like catching air and bottoming out the suspension) but if a valve or seal fails in normal use, I'd like to be covered. Sounds like you guys have that angle covered.

Scollins,

This suspension system was born on the track. The owner is a huge track junky located in California. He personally tests everything on the track before it goes into production. I am so please with the set-up. It's beyond my expectations.

It never rubs during normal driving and even aggrssive turning etc. I have a 25 offset with 275's on an e90.This is the only time Ive ever heard it rub. I might have been going too fast for this particular bump/dip.I can get koni yellows and it should be fine but it still will be too low. What kind of coilover do you guys recommend and how hard is the install? thanks in advance for any advice.
Hey fotios,
I'm running VS8's myself. I went with 245 and 275 Goodyear F1 Asym.. I also installed 5mm spacer on the rear, felt it got the wheel right where I want it with no rubbing. I'm curious, are you still running the 5mm rear spacer with the H&R springs? I'm also looking for a slight drop (lower than ZSP), while still maintaining everyday drivability. Have you made a decision yet?

yup. Its very difficult to get it to rub. It has to be a big bump. It doesnt rub even under very aggressive cornering or launches. I love the way the car looks. there is no way I'll remove the spacer because it makes the fitment perfect. the way I think wheels like this should be. aggressive.

im runnin a 245/275 setup on some KW V2's that i isntalled 3 days ago. I gotta say the ride is so much better and the cornering has def. improved. I had it slammed in the rear and nearly slammed in the fronts the first day i got it and the car was barely driveable. The front fender was sitting ON the tire when straight. It rubbed like crazy front and rear. I raised the front up an inch and the rears a bit less than an inch and it perfect. only rubs on hard bumps because i have yet to roll the fenders. I had no options but to install coilovers because i need that adjustability option. all in all a GREAT $1050 spent!
