INPA small issue

Guys,

I'm trying to do transmission reset through INPA however it wouldn't recognise my transmission ECU/Unit.

They only have GS19A, GS19B and GS19C where mine is GS19D.

I've updated to the latest INPA version and tried other version from other websites on net with no luck.

Any Clue?

Thanks,

Erik

I'm guessing it not my cable. I have successfully coded with NCS and have alpina flashed my trans, but for some reason I can't access my trans in INPA. Getting the same error as the OP.

Ok, thanks. I updated datens with the BMW Coding tool, but I guess I have missed something along the way. Can you offer any insight as to which INPA folder would be missing some files?

You should update your INPA and your daten files.

Ok, I feel really stupid that I can't figure this out. Where exactly would I see the INPA version. When I load INPA, F1 says I have version 5.00. Also down at the bottom, all 3 of the path locations have all ??????. The version that I have was installed with ST 2.12 and in the INPA folder there is a version.txt file that says 5.0.6 is installed.

Also, in my INPA/sgdat folder there is a file named GS19D.PRG, so why am i getting the error message when trying to read my trans?

Hey cn555ic, this is the guy with the unusually long flash, still trying to figure out why. Maybe you have some insight as to why I cant read my trans module?

If you have Team Viewer installed on your computer I could take a look at your INPA/EDIABAS files.

Any progress on this? Having the same problem with not having GS19D files.

- I have the latest E89 daten files (V49)
- GS19D.PRG exists in EDIABAS\ECU
- GS19.IPO exists in INPA\SGDAT

Cannot connect to trans although it was flashed with Alpina B3 softare.

Do you have files like:
GS19_ea.ipo
GS1912.ipo
?

Check what files starting with GS19... in INPA/SGDAT you have...

Hello I have the same issue and I was reading around and the issue seems that we do not have a GS19D.ipo file and we need that specific file and copy it to our SGDAT location. I have not found a download or link for this file anywhere. Could anybody by chance share the file?
