Hi Guys, Just ordered a 335 two days ago. I put in the production number and it came up as a 328?? Am I suppose to wait a few days for it to correct itself, or did someone make a mistake?

I doubt anything is wrong. It is common for a CA to change an existing order so you get your car faster than if they put in a totally new order. In those cases, it takes a few days before the correct info shows up on the website. But you might as well call your CA to make sure everything is okay.

Or If you call the BMWNA number and talk to a rep, they can give you the details of your prod order #

I ordered a 335 coupe about a week ago (18 jan), they said you getting the car between feb 1 to 15 ,(dealer told me this is a december production and someone ordered it but he canceled it after awhile) I got my production number today from dealer but it is not in their system!!!!
I am so worry , I think the dear lied to me about the delivery date .
can anybody help me please ?

If you're getting the car that quick, then the dealer's story appears correct. That's way too fast of a turnaround, even for the east coast. Oops - looks like you're in Canada - the tracking doesn't work for CA cars/orders

dealer said if you want to order you must wait for 2.5 to 3 months , but he said some one ordered this car before , and buyer changed his mind ,( he switched to another model ) so dealer took this car for me , and he said this is a december production , but the problem is all dealerships and their stuffs are liar , I dont trust them at all .

my car will be sitting at the port for who knows how long...

Can anyone help me here i'm from the uk, i ordered my car back on Dec 6. My dealer phoned me the other day saying that its on transport and says it will arrive at the dealers anytome now. He phoned today telling me its still not arrived yet. Is there anyway i can track its progress to see where it is????

Hey Guys, Same as JonnyP, I have problems here. I am in Hong Kong. My 335 should have been manufactured in January production then shipped by the end of Jan on a vessel arriving Hong Kong Feb. 28. My dealer just broke the news that my car is not on board. He claims the car is ready and will be shipped on the next vessel (mid february, maybe..., not sure bla..bla...bla...)

I am just wondering if it is possible that my car has not been released for shipment after testing and went back to the workshop. Or maybe the car has not been manufactured yet... Is there a way for me to know what is going on ?? I am getting mad : I ordered the car back in early October !!!

Hope I can get some tips from you guys. Tks !

The first post should be updated as BMW is using WW to the westcoast now as well.

Many people on the forum have had a car on a WW ship to the west coast recently.

Hey ! I am in Clearwater Bay. Beautiful days at the moment in HK (only if you forget about the pollution !). I am dreaming of my 335... Was at my Dealerships today the car has finally arrived, it's been a long wait! Picking the car up soon just waiting for the rear boot spoiler to arrive and put on. Looking forward to driving it. they are new codes:

Plant code P is the newest BMW plant in Uzbekistan. apparently they get a lot of recalls from cars produced there but it should all be squared out soon.

Restraint 5 is a new type of magnetic vest that you HAVE to wear that holds you to the seat. again, typical German overengineering. Get used to it as it will soon be mandatory in all vehicules.
