How often do you wash your car?

I wash my car just about once every 2 weeks, but lately it's been really windy and a lot of dirt flying around, so I have started washing her once every week and a half.

Is that too excessive?
Will that hurt my paint or clear coat over time washing my car so often??

How often do you wash yours?

You won't do any harm at all by just washing if you practice good wash techniques.

I wash my cars at least weekly, providing the weather is cooperating. Driving a dirty car bothers me. Pet peeve I guess.

Just make sure you use some tar remover. I don't think that is excessive. Ugh, for some reason I have a feeling this is in the wrong forum

not excessive @ all. i wash my car 1-2 times a week. usually every wednesday and sunday. wednesday is a quick wash, sunday is usually a 3 hour ordeal.

WOW... 2wice a week and WOWOW to 3 hours.

I feel lazy compared to you guys then. i was my car 1 1/2 and its the gas station car wash and i hop on the fwy and it drys pretty nice.

I try to wash it every two weeks, but depending how they look I may clean the rims more often.

Call me Crazy, but I usually wash my car in the early AM, like 6AM lol.. that way the sun is not out yet, and it is still cool.. I try to in the evenings, but usually get lazy and ready to go out in the evenings..

ive tried doing it in the morning but im still half asleep so i guess i do it slow and it gets hot by the time i have to dry it lol so i just do it at nights in my garage.
