M3 gone now...I am kind of done with sports cars for now, as I have had a Porsche C4S, a Lotus and 4 M3's over the past 10 yrs...I also just moved...but when I get settled in again I am sure another sports car will be in the garage...I am thinking of a GTR or a GT3 for the next one.
Very nice. & congrats on the new ride.

The d is my daily (35-45k miles/yr) and I couldn't be happier with it. I think you'll feel the same way. Candidly, I can't wait to get rid of the mild sloppiness in the rear with the subframe bushings and I'd love a LSD, but (the former mild gripe excluded) the car is fantastic in stock form. My wife recently told me that the GTR could be my next fun car (although I'm still pushing for an Ariel or a bike), but honestly-for now-I'm happy having just one: the diesel...great ride!

What's your color combo?

Wow, I thought I drove alot at 20K per yr...I have a AW car...interior is saddle brown, which I am not so sure about but we shall see later today when I get the car...would rather have had black interior but couldnt find this combo with sports pkg.

I am tempted to get those Morr smoked titanium wheels on this car as they looked good on my AW M car.

Ariel would be a fun track car but not too practical otherwise.

I gotta admit though, I love the LeMans Blue exterior color on all BMW's.

That is a good question. Not too many on the market from what I can tell, so it's tough to gauge the valuation. Would you guys contend that the M-Sport package is one that a lot of people would like to have?

Not me. I am not impressed with the body changes. It's like BMW was wondering how they can squeeze some more money out of people who dont want to drop big bucks on an M3 and at the same time keeping the car uglier than the M3.

And I think the sport package 195 wheels are just as nice as the M-Sport wheels.

When I was looking for my d last year msport was not a priority. But sport package and nav were a must. But now that I have the msport I love it, the steering wheel is amazing.

Also, you can really feel the unsprung weight difference with the Morr's cause car handles so much better when compared to the heavy OEM wheels.
Aren't the msport 193s rather light?

I have driven both 335d with the sports package and with the M-sport package during my search for a D. I did notice a difference in feel with the suspension. The M-sport definitely feels tighter around the corners.

I agree. I have only driven a non-sport once before, but I definitely noticed a difference. Maybe the sport seats provide the added feeling of comfort and "enhance" the feeling so to speak.

I belive the M-sport comes also with a thicker rear sway bar.

Honestly I think the sway bar is about the only non-aesthetic difference between sport & m-sport (in the US), but I may be wrong. Anybody know if there is ay difference between with the springs/dampers in the us version? I don't think there are.
