iDrive and POIs

With one of my keys the navigation on the splitscreen displays POIs, with the key i use the most there are no POI;s displayed in the nav splitscreen. How do i turn them on, i fiddled around for a while with no success

its a 2011 e90 with nav

Really? no one knows how to turn up points of interest?
