Power Steering Pump.
having some moaning and groaning coming from the steering wheel i think.
This only happens on idle. No sounds when turning. Power steering fluid is full , no leaks that I can see. Also did a flush to make sure it wasn't the fluid. I did my research and based on the comments I am assuming its the Power steering Pump. I did feel the the hose that connects the Power steering pump reservoir to the pump vibrates and noise is coming from that area. Has anyone had the same issues? Does anyone know the rough cost to replace the pump? Are there any better and cheaper options then OEM pump? My car has about 95 000 Kms and can't believe the pump maybe dying. |

Have had my 07 328's power steering pump replaced already. This was about a month ago. Car had 58k at the time and was already out of warranty.
Same symptoms except mine was also making noise when turning. Cost all in through an independent shop was about $1100. All OEM parts.
