GVA: E93 accident in DT Vancouver

Surprised no one got killed in this accident and hopefully it's not a member on here.

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - A crash that closed Hastings Street near Abbott Street for several hours this morning sent three people to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Vancouver Police say an eastbound vehicle clipped a parked street sweeper, sending the car out of control down Hastings Street, coming to a stop about 100 feet away.

There were five people in the car and two of them had to be cut out by Vancouver Fire crews. The other three were taken to hospital.

The cause of the accident is being investigated, and investigators are looking into whether speed or alcohol may have been involved.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has pertinent information is asked to call the Vancouver Police Collision Investigation Unit at 604.717.3012 or CrimeStoppers at 1.800.222.8477.

That area is a pretty slow zone in downtown Van. They must have been zipping along to cause that kind of damage. Good thing they're ok.

I would suspect its a member on here, look at the mods on it. Front CF lip and has aftermarket rims. Thankfully noone is hurt severely.

that's the standard msport 19" and I believe that's the undertray, not a cf lip

The fireman did most of that damage with the jaws of life to get the people out.
